Missä märkämaalausta käytetään?
- For the protection of steel structures and equipment parts
- In enclosures for electrical and control panels
- In engineering workshop products, where both aesthetics and durability are required
- For parts that cannot withstand a powder coating oven or require a precise colour shade
What does wet painting mean?
In wet painting, paint is applied to the surface of the part in liquid form—usually by spray painting—either manually or automatically. The paint can have one or two components, depending on the application and required standard. After painting, the paint dries at room temperature or in an oven, forming a hard and protective film.
Benefits of wet painting
- Excellent corrosion protection, especially for products intended for outdoor use
- Wide range of colours and good surface quality
- Suitable for complex geometries where powder coating may not adhere evenly
- Possibility to use special paints, such as fire-retardant or chemical-resistant coatings
