Unlike conventional blower-equipped mills, the BHOS hammer mills, operating without a blower, achieve significantly higher grinding capacity at the same motor power output. This superior efficiency is due to the BHOS design, where 100% of the motor's power is dedicated exclusively to the milling process, eliminating any diversion of energy for material conveying.

The BHOS is available in two robust sizes, featuring powerful AC motors across a range from 11 kW to 110 kW. These hammers boast an impressive service life of at least 5,000 tons. Complementing this durability are our reinforced round-hole and mesh screens, engineered for similar exceptional longevity.

Industrial Hammer Mills BHOS 500 - 1200

The BHOS 500 – 1200 series industrial hammer mills, featuring power ratings from 37 kW to 90 kW, are engineered for exceptional durability and outstanding efficiency. These robust machines are capable of producing a wide array of feed textures while simultaneously delivering significant energy savings. This is achieved through a combination of their compact design, an exceptionally large screen surface, low-wear hard metal hammers, and a rapid screen-change system.

With an expansive screen area of either 0.65 m² or 1 m², these industrial mills are generously dimensioned per kilowatt of power. This thoughtful design ensures a consistent and uniform feed structure, even when operating at impressively high throughput volumes.

Every mill in this series can be optionally equipped with a frequency converter. This allows operators to precisely control the rotor speed, tailoring it to specific ingredient characteristics or recipe requirements, thereby ensuring the production of desired feed textures with optimal precision.

When operating a milling system without a built-in blower, integrating an automated filter is highly recommended. The fully automatic Buschhoff auto-filter system is designed to handle three essential functions:

  • Efficient Material Extraction: It uses powerful suction to draw the processed grain out of the mill. This method significantly reduces the amount of fine dust and meal in the final product, ensuring a higher quality mix.
