Arska Group Establishes Subsidiary in Sweden on October 1, 2024 – Strengthening the Position of Mepu Grain Handling Equipment in the Nordic Countries

Arska Group continues its international expansion by establishing a subsidiary, Arska Scandinavia Ab, in Sweden on October 1, 2024. The new subsidiary will focus on Mepu grain handling equipment and serving Arskametalli’s existing customers. Arska Group owns 51% of the company, and Rais Holding Ab owns 49%. Rais Ab has previously acted as a distributor for Arskametalli Oy’s grain handling equipment in Sweden. Operational activities will begin on January 1, 2025.

Strong Growth in the Swedish Market
With the establishment of the subsidiary, Arska Group strengthens its position in the Swedish market. Mepu grain handling equipment is already well-known for its high quality and durability. Through the subsidiary, we can further develop our services and offer tailored solutions to customers locally.

Mepu Oy's Distribution Network Remains Unchanged in Sweden
Arska Group’s existing distributors will continue their operations in Sweden under the same terms. The founding of the subsidiary does not affect the position of distributors but rather provides them with better opportunities to leverage the support and marketing infrastructure offered by Arska Group.

Towards Stronger Collaboration and Growth

Arska Group’s turnover in 2023 was approximately 15 million euros, and the company employs about 70 people in total. Arska Group primarily manufactures grain handling equipment, and in the future, the product portfolio will be expanded with new innovations to support seasonal fluctuations and enhance the business.
