Effortless Grain Emptying with Inner Cone Silo – Optimize Your Storage Efficiency
The Mepu inner cone silo is available with either a smooth bottom or a perforated ventilation bottom. Ventilation ducts can also be installed as an additional feature. The internal hopper can also be installed in older flat-bottom grain silos.
Our inner cone silos are manufactured in Finland from corrugated hot-dip galvanized steel. The thickness of the grain silo wall panels ranges from 1.25 mm to 2.00 mm, with a hot-dip galvanization coating of 275 g/m². For special conditions, we can provide silos with a coating thickness of up to 600 g/m² if needed.
For the high model, the inner cone silo can be emptied using a Wheatheart auger or Skandia Elevator’s I- and L-conveyors. Pre-made connections to the grain silo wall are available for conveyors and augers. If necessary, we can also supply the silo with other discharge connections.
