Mepu's new SeedX10 is designed to meet the needs of the modern farmer. It makes filling the seed-fertilizer filler wagon faster, easier and safer than ever before – while improving farm profitability, environmental friendliness and energy efficiency.

Filling devices for seed drills can significantly streamline sowing operations. A filler wagon equipped with powerful augers and suitable compartmentalization is the most efficient option for refuelling at the field edge, reducing waiting times and speeding up sowing work by up to 40 percent.

Features

Frame

The structure and mobility of the slurry spreader filling wagon support safe and efficient use in all conditions. A sturdy frame makes the wagon stable during both transport and filling. Fixed ladders placed at the front of the wagon allow safe access to the tank. The drawbar has a liftable, sturdy support leg with a wide base to prevent the wagon from sinking into soft fields. In addition, the wagon is equipped with wide tires that reduce soil compaction and improve travel even in challenging field conditions.

Tanks

The Mepu SeedX10 has a total capacity of 10 m³. The trailer has a 4 m³ grain tank and a 6 m³ fertilizer tank.

The tank can be filled directly from a silo or with a swivel filling auger from ground level – there is no need to climb onto the trailer. The fertilizer tank comes standard with a grate that breaks the bottom of the fertilizer sack – the driver does not need to get out of the tractor to open the sack by hand.

The tanks have large maintenance hatches in the bottom, which make cleaning and maintenance easier. A roll-up cover is fitted over the tank to protect against rain and dust.

Filling and emptying auger

The folding filling and emptying auger is 6 meters long and its inclination can be adjusted – steepest at 45° and shallowest at 20°. The auger is equipped with a hydraulic motor.

The auger acts as a steerable and easily adjustable filling screw for a seed fertilizer spreader or for filling a wagon. The screw folds in half, allowing a compact transport position and easier handling.

The telescopic section and ergonomic handles improve control of grain or fertilizer flow during filling. The design is user-friendly, enabling filling to proceed efficiently and in a controlled manner.

Bottom Screw

The base screw ensures a smooth transition from the tanks to the unloading auger. Its housing is made of stainless steel, guaranteeing durability and longevity even in demanding conditions.

Cleaning hatches integrated into the screws significantly facilitate cleaning and maintenance operations, making operation smooth and servicing effortless.

The seed tank is emptied using a hydraulically operated knife gate.

Inspection windows

The tanker is designed to be practical and easy to maintain. Several inspection windows allow you to monitor the fill level effortlessly.

For post-season washing and maintenance, the tank is specifically designed with cleanability in mind. Large maintenance hatches located at the bottom of the tanks facilitate cleaning and upkeep.

A roll-up cover mounted on top of the tank serves as an effective rain and dust protector.

Hydraulic operation

The functionality of the filling wagon is implemented with hydraulic motors and cylinders. In the standard version, hydraulics are taken from the tractor, which makes the system simple and efficient to use.

If necessary, the wagon can be equipped with an optional internal combustion engine unit that enables the use of hydraulics also without a tractor. This increases flexibility and usability in different conditions.

Road traffic equipment

The seeder-fertilizer filling trailer is equipped with comprehensive road traffic equipment for safe and regulation-compliant transport. The equipment includes indicators, brake lights and reflectors, which improve visibility and road safety, especially in low light and busy traffic. In addition, the trailer has a slow-moving vehicle triangle that warns other road users of the trailer's low speed. These features meet road traffic requirements and enable the safe use of the trailer on public roads.

Radio control

All functions can be controlled with a wireless remote control. A radio remote control is used, allowing control of filling and emptying operations. Safety push-button control prevents uncontrolled use and stops operation immediately when needed.
